Clément Safra was born in 1987 in Paris. His first feature film, Filmus, was selected at the Locarno International Film Festival in the Signs of Life section, devoted to “new narrative forms and innovative languages”. He shot his second feature film, Le Peuple des Miroirs, in Cambodia, presented by Leica Store Paris Rive Gauche as part of a photographic exhibition extending the experience of the film. Author of books on Walt Disney and Steven Spielberg, lecturer at the École Normale Supérieure, the Cinémathèque française and even at the La Jetée film and short film documentation center in Clermont-Ferrand, he frequently speaks in the media on various topics related to cinema, in particular on France Inter, Arte and France 5.
