Gillian Genries   is a painter working mainly in the Paris region. Recently graduated from the Beaux arts de Paris in 2021, she questions the relationship between man and the object in space. Evolving between Paris and Marseille, her work is coloured by the encounters and other meetings and other peregrinations that animate her. Gillian’s work revolves around the notion of interior and living space. Born in a family of collectors and gleaners, the question of the dreamed or idealized space very quickly imposed itself in her practice. «I am interested in scenes of ordinary I am interested in scenes of ordinary life, in the objects they invoke and in their relationship to space.
